This name….my god who thought of this….. it sounds awful, to be honest. A bit…. weird I guess? Anyways, it’s a reverse harem, an otome game (I think) and well…..yeah that’s all background info I know about it really. So, I’ll be moving on now, since I don’t have anything else to say! (Synopsys is copy-pasted, because I don’t have enough time to type it myself)
A world where art becomes magic. In this world, people who can inspire passion with their Magic Arts are called Artistas, and are employed in show business. In Hoshinomori Private Magical Arts High School, where Artistas are taught, a strange new student named Kohana Aigasaki transfers into the school.
Kohana is placed on the planning committee for the school’s yearly Hoshinomori Summer Festa cultural festival. She spends her romantic school life with six other boys who aim to become entertainers in the future. Each of the boys specializes in his own Arts, and aims to make Hoshi Fes a success. In addition, the boys also aim to be chosen alongside Kohana as the school’s Artista Prince and Princess, only chosen once a year.
A Magic-kyun for you! A new renaissance starts here! Magic-kyun! Renaissance is a multimedia project where you can create great memories with Artistas of greatly varying personalities!
First about the synopsis…..a bit too positive and dreamy I guess. Though indeed everything is true what’s said in the synopsis, it’s a bit too childish for me. Well, it’s at least a title that sort of says what kind of style you have to expect. So, about the anime itself. The concept reminds me of Uta no prince-sama together with some anime that some have special abilities. Though a bit over-dramatised at some point. A reverse-harem where the male leads are all in love with the heroine and those abilities just add some problem they all have. I think the story could have been without the abilities, since the problems of the boys could be solved even without abilities I think. The goal about Hoshi Fes is so weird to let 7 people perform their art while having all a different one….. I guess the abilities are the only way to combine them…but I still think it’s weird. The protagonist is not the strongest, she’s uncertain of herself, but cheers other people. Development is per 1 or 2 episodes and the big line is very clear, which is simple and not bad, because it’s a reverse harem. The story is sometimes containing some holes in the story, but overall watertight enough if you don’t think too much about most stuff. Art is nice and those patterns showing the abilities is good too, but if it is impossible for me to even feel a bit of why the characters say most of the time: “Pretty~…” It reminds me of my CKV teacher I had previous school year (2017-2018). Don’t ask what CKV is, search it up yourself. I guess that’s everything I wanted to talk about. Then grading, I’ll give it a 6/10. I think it’s not bad, but I feel a bit of repeating things and other minus points I said before. It’s still satisfying enough to watch, so I still won’t say you don’t watch it.
Well, I’m done for the week I guess. Going to sleep now, since it’s kind of late for school and I’m tired.
Till the next time!
