Manga review: Dasadanan

Hello everyone, so this is a part of the double review I have published today. Dasdanan, also called ‘Eventful’ in English. A light-hearted webtoon with fun and still maybe a bit serious on the other side. Like the previous Anime review, this is Shounen Ai. Blame Dasadanan for getting Shounen Ai reviews from me suddenly in a row if you don’t like them. Anyways, let’s start.

Kang Chan and Seyeon have been close friends since they were young after being introduced by their parents. After entering high school, Seyeon suddenly received a confession from Kang Chan and became aware of Kang Chan since then. He tries to find out what he thinks about Kang Chan. Meanwhile, Naeun, Seyeon’s childhood friend, is displeased with their relationship. The trivial and noisy story of their love triangle and those around them…

To say the big line of this webtoon, it’s about Seyeon realizing whether Kang Chan is only friends or more. It’s fun to read with a lot of comedy in it. There is also Shoujo Ai in it. Though not as clear, it is definitely present. Even if you’re not particularly a fan of Shounen or Shoujo Ai, it’s pretty good to read for those who want to begin reading these things or if you just want to read something not over-romantic, but it’s still there. The concept of it is well done. I rarely read Shounen or Shoujo Ai, because my interest is just somewhere else. And no, it doesn’t mean I don’t accept it in real life. I’m just awkward with it. That aside, I can’t say whether it’s original or not since I don’t read this genre a lot. The story is fun and the past can sometimes be pretty important. Though it’s not really fully answered, I think you don’t mind, since it’s a light-hearted story that’s very fluffy, to be honest. The art is super good with the story and it makes things super cute. I’ll give it a 7,5/10. It was a nice webtoon to read. Not too long, nor short, Fun art, okay story and you saw what the original goal was. It’s not that memorable in my head, but I think the author did a good job putting in Shoujo and Shounen Ai together. It was a good webtoon.

And that was the review! Though I always try to make it long and reliable, it’s not really easy. I have mostly a compact opinion, because I don’t want to give spoilers, but on the other hand, it’s necessary to have a spoiler to understand why I think like that….. That aside, I hope you would share your thoughts about this and liked this review.

Until the next time
