Hello people, I’m here again. It’s been a while since I was doing a review. Good news I have, because when I first thought I had to repeat classes, I didn’t have to! I’m to the next grade, so that’s nice. Now, spiritpact. The anime is dubbed to Japanese. There’s also a Chinese version of it. The Chinese version has double the amount of episodes, but have exactly the same story plot, only those are a bit shorter. The manhwa….yeah, never really read it much, I should though. Anyways, enjoy the review!
Poverty-strikened Yang Jinghua had an accident. The moment he woke up, he seemed to turn 10 years younger overnight. Yang Jinghua thought he had been reborn and when he was about to step on the path for a new beginning, a white-haired, rich and handsome guy named Duanmu Xi, appeared right in front of him. He not only told Yang Jinghua that Yang Jinghua was already dead, he even asked for an invitation: “Young man, do you want to sign a contract with me and stay with me for the rest of your life?”
This anime is a not really the best I’ve seen, not the worst either. It’s original, because I don’t see a lot of these kinds of things that the protagonist is actually dead AND aware of the fact. The term “taoist” is already known to me, so it wasn’t really a problem to see. Also, modern Toaists stories are not really that much to be found that are at least a bit realistic, so this was nice. The art was nice and it flowed nicely at the action scenes. It was well done. The story, it was pretty funny sometimes. There was a motive and you could see the goal, but with a few plot twists that weren’t THAT surprising, yet still well thought of. So overall, it wasn’t bad. The shounen ai is in it, but it is handleable for non-shounen-ai-fans. I give it a 6.5/10. It’s an average that’s good, but with its simple story and good art, it is just okay for me.
Well, that was it for this week, I will post 2 reviews next week. The drawings and stuff I promised will be this month, but now that I have extra work to do, I don’t know exactly when it’s finished. Either way, I will have a packed schedule for in the holidays. See you next week!
