So, I think I made an important notice out of this last summer or something, because I was hyped about it. Beginning in October 2017 and ending in Dec 2017. Originally from an Otome Game I liked very much. Because I’m a cheap skate, I watched it on YouTube. No regrets, because it’s still nice to read. There are fan-discs and merchandise from the game and probably the otome game too. It even made an appearance at Otomate games and although I do like otome games, I won’t say that I’m a super duper fan of it, just a fan. Anyways, I hope you like the review and here it comes.
Cardia Beckford, a girl who lived alone, asleep in a room for an unknown amount of time. She’s feared by the townsfolk and even called a ‘monster’. The reason is, because she carries a highly corrosive substance in her body. The very reason she carries that substance is, because she has a thing called ‘Horologium’ in her chest embedded. That thing produces an infinite amount of power, but also destroys everything, except the clothes she has, with her skin.
Her fahter, Isaac Beckford, the reason she has the Horologium is rumored to have close ties with terrorist organization Twilight. Before they have her, the British forces capture Cardia intending to bring her as a prisoner to London. Unexpected for the forces si that the so-called ‘gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, will still her heart. Together with Lupin and his companions (love interests), she goes on a journey discovering about herself, her father and London.
First thing I’ll say, I like the art of the otome game much more than that of the anime. That’s of course natural, because animating and realistic making is harder if it was exactly the same style. The story, some things exactly of the otome game, others not. Well, I liked the otome game more than the actual anime. I still think it’s good they have mroe otome games in the anime world. Though I didn’t really dislike this one, I didn’t enjoy it either. It was an okay anime so to say. Though I expected a no-romance story, it came out to be a Lupin’s route, with little backgrounds of the other love interests. The concept was interesting, but the main protagonist…. no comment. I’ll give it a 6/10. Main reason is because it’s still from an otome game I like and I didn’t hate it so to say.
Well, that was it. Btw, look forward to the drawings I’ll post soon enough, it will only be 3 though if you don’t mind.
See you next week
