Anime review: Ao Haru Ride

Because I asked someone what to review, I will do this. Ao Haru Ride, in English Blue Spring Ride. I only watched the anime and never read the manga, not planning to either. So here will be the review, hope you enjoy.

Ao Haru Ride theme 1

Story:

Futaba Yoshioka used to be a very popular middle-schooler and liked by many boys. Even though she was hindered by the jealous girl. She still brushed everyone away due to her only caring about Kou Tanaka. With the two having good memories of each other, she planned to go the the summer festival with him. But due to a misunderstanding, it caused her to lose her friend, due to him dissapearing after it. With that, she left middle school friendless and with regret about what happened in her heart.

Now that she is in high school, she became the opposite how she used to be before. This is to be sure to not stand out and she manages well. But then Kou Tanaka appears again, but then with the name Kou Mabuchi. How did this come to happen and what will happen between the 2 of them?

OpinionAo Haru Ride theme 4

I can’t exactly remember how I came onto it, but I think it was the most featured even though some time already passed. I liked the art, it is I think like the original manga and that was nice. The story is pretty classic about the childhood friend stuff, but the background story doesn’t come THAT much in manga’s so it’s at least not a classic. I didn’t like it that much, but it wasn’t bad. the OP and ED are awesome and I still need to rewatch it. Now that I write it, I probably am going to read the manga so I am not misisng anything and maybe revise my opinion. That will maybe happen, maybe. I will give this a 7/10. It wasn’t bad, but also not that good. Still, the art and originality makes it a 7.

So, that’s it for this week. Maybe I will do more novel reviews in the future.

Until then, see you later
